INSTRUCTIONS

DO NOT SKIP READING THESE INSTRUCTIONS – THEY ARE IMPORTANT
- All students are advised to change their "Password/ Default Password" in "Student Login" before registration, to protect their registrations. They should use a strong password for their login and should not share their password with their friends. The University does not take any responsibility if their course registrations are altered/ deleted.
- Before starting your registration, for reference keep the Curriculum applicable to your Programme-year and course flow chart ready. If needed, Programme Chair/ Faculty Advisor may be contacted for help in selecting the courses.
- Though students can register (confirmed registrations) for a maximum of 27 credits, they are permitted to add a maximum of two courses under waiting list (independent of credits). Maximum of 60 students will be retained under waiting list in each theory/ lab class. Students are permitted to ‘Delete’ a wait listed course on their own. In few cases, confirmation of wait listed courses will be made within two days after the closing of Add/Drop after a discussion with the Schools concerned and the rest of the waited listed courses will be deleted.
- Co-extra Curricular Activity can be registered by senior students.
- A minimum of 16 credits and a maximum of 27 credits (including backlog/ re-registration/ minor/ honour/ audit/ course substitution/ Additional Courses) can be registered. Final year students are exempted from the minimum credit requirements.
- Students who have exhausted their one arrear chance in a course (or) having an arrear course that is not cleared in one year period, have to compulsorily re-register their arrear course(s) first (if that course is currently offered), before registering ‘fresh’ courses, for the balance credits. Option of ‘Delete’ and ‘Change of Slot’ within the compulsorily re-registered courses is made available. However, if such a course is deleted, all registered courses other than the compulsorily re-registered courses will be deleted.
- Students having 5 or more arrears can register for a maximum of 23 credits.
- If you change the password using forget password option, kindly login into your "Student Login" to change the default password before logging in for registration.
- Courses having <30 registrations for Theory Courses & <15 registrations for Lab Courses will not be offered and hence will be removed before the Add/Drop opens. They will be indicated in the registration as ‘Subject to Offering’. Students have to register into other courses during Add/Drop, AFTER deleting those courses indicated as ‘Subject to Offering’.
- Students who have completed the credit requirements (eligibility details can be seen by selecting the project course) can register for their 20/10 credit project. Subsequent to Project Registration, please contact the project guide for online approval. If the approval status is NOT changed to “Registered & Approved by faculty”, you need to select another faculty through the online registration process made available during Add/Drop.
- If you miss your Course Registration in the slot given, you can register the courses during Add/Drop.
- An option to register the Theory or Lab component of an embedded course is made available if the student had completed the other component as a separate course.
- Under unavoidable circumstances, there may be a change in faculty/ venue. All efforts will be taken to keep such changes to a bare minimum level.
