Note: Only graduates who register online will be allowed for the Convocation photo session. Online registration will be available till 25th October 2022 (10.00 pm). Spot registration will not be permitted.
Before the Convocation
- Graduates need to bring their degree certificate in a file while coming for registration.
- Registration Venue is Academic Block I Main Entrance.
- Registration Timings:
- 2020 Batch - 6.45 am to 8 am.
- 2021 Batch - 11am to 12:30 pm.
- Robing Hall Venue: Near AB I Annex Lift Area.
- After the registration, graduates are asked to collect the robes and go to MG Auditorium.
- Graduates are requested to follow the time slots strictly.
During the Photo session inside the convocation hall
- As per the time slot students will be allowed to go on to stage one by one to take photograph with their degree certificate and will come out of the convocation hall after their photo session.
- Children under the age of 10 are not permitted.
- Mobile phones need to be put on silent mode.
- Dress code: Formal (No T-Shirts / Jeans).
Robe Charges
- Charges to be paid to the external agency for the convocation robe
- Deposit: Rs.600/-
- Deduction: Rs.100/-
- Refund: Rs.500 (will be refunded upon return of the robe at Near AB I Annex Lift Area)
Transport Facility
- Vandalur to VIT Chennai (Up & Down) - Every half-an-hour from 6.00 am to 8.30 am (Two buses)
- Kelambakkam to VIT Chennai (Up & Down) - Every ONE hour from 6.00 am to 8.30 am (One bus)
Return trips will be organized after the Convocation.
All the graduates are requested to register online without fail.
